  • Foreign Currency Current Account can be opened for the purpose of Trade or Investment;
  • No cheque book will be issued for Foreign Currency Current Account;
  • Available in the following types of foreign currency: (CNY, USD, HKD, EUR, GBP, SGD, AUD, CAD and JPY).

Eligibility of Customers

For institutions, enterprises, organizations or company incorporated in Malaysia.

Documents Required

  • Certificate of Incorporation (Section 17)*
  • Notice of Registration of Company (Section 15)*
  • Application for Registration of Company (Section 14)*
  • Application for Change of Name (Section 28)*, if applicable
  • Constitution of a Company (Section 32)*, if applicable
  • Resolution of the Board of Directors to open and operate the account*
  • Latest Annual Return (Section 68), only applicable to public listed company;
  • Photocopy of Identity Card/Passport of all the Company Directors and Authorised Signatories*
  • Other relevant documents upon requested by the Bank
