New Anti-Malware features on iGTB MOBILE

To strengthen the security of our digital banking services, iGTB MOBILE has launched a new anti-malware feature to the Android and Huawei version, to prevent hackers from controlling your mobile device through malicious software. This feature can identify whether your mobile device has installed applications downloaded from unofficial app stores* and granted excessive permissions.

If this is the case, you will be unable to use iGTB MOBILE via that device. Please turn off the accessibility features (Settings > Accessibility) of the relevant applications on the device or delete the related applications in order to continue using iGTB MOBILE.

Kindly reminder:

1. You should download iGTB MOBILE application from official application stores and Bank official website.

2. You should only download and install mobile applications provided by trusted and verified developers from official application stores, and should not download any mobile applications from unknown sources.

3. Evaluate permissions requested from mobile applications carefully before installation, if suspicious permission rights are required, do not install the mobile application.

4. Do not visit suspicious websites or downloading any files from them.

*Official app stores include: Apple Store, Google Play Store, Samsung Galaxy Store, Xiaomi Mi GetApps, Huawei AppGallery and LG SmartWorld App
