- Never provide your password, PIN and token over the phone, email or SMS.
Shred documents that contain confidential information before discarding.
Monitor your account activities.
Report lost or stolen tokens immediately.
Use a complex password e.g. password consists of upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters.
Change your password periodically.
Cover the keypad while entering your password at public area.
Do not click on any link, open attachment, or respond to email and SMS from unknown sender.
Do not access your bank account through public networks.
Update Bank of China when there is amendment in your contact details.
Avoid installing program or application from untrusted sources.
Always keep anti-virus, anti-malware software and devices updated.
Check SMS transaction alerts in a timely manner.
Always log out and clear internet cache when you have completed your banking activity.
PDRM, BNM. LHDN or any other government department will never conduct investigation over the phone.
Do not transfer money to unfamiliar company or persons.

Contact Bank of China immediately at +603 2059 5566.
Report scam / fraud to the law enforcement agency.
Keep all records such as transaction receipts etc.
