What is Quick Lock ?  

The Quick Lock is a self-service security feature that allow you to lock your account when you suspect your account(s) has been compromised, suspect fraudulent transactions or suspect you are victim of scams.
 
Note: Quick Lock is only applicable to Savings/Current account(s) linked to Internet/Mobile Banking.

a.Quick Lock activation

There are 2 ways you can activate the Quick Lock.
•Via Internet Banking
Step 1: Log in to www.bankofchina.com.my
Step 2: Tap the Quick Lock button on the 1st page
Step 3: Read the terms and view the account to be lock
Step 4: Confirm to lock your account(s)

•Via Mobile Banking app
Step 1: Launch the BOCM mobile banking app
Step 2: Tap the Quick Lock button on the 1st page
Step 3: Read the terms and view the account to be lock
Step 4: Confirm to lock your account(s)

Once the Quick Lock is activated via Internet Banking or Mobile Banking app your account(s) listed in the “Locked” page will be freeze for debit and credit transaction, including all recurring/scheduled transaction/payment, debit card transaction and cheque payment. If there is unauthorized transactions in the account before the account(s) is locked, please contact call center at 03-20595566 or visit the nearest branch to report fraud immediately.

You still can log in Internet Banking and/or Mobile Banking to view and check the account balance and transaction.

You will receive a SMS notifying you that your account has been locked or you may also log in to your Internet Banking or Mobile Banking app, select Quick Lock, tap on “Locked” to view the account(s) has been successfully locked.

b.Quick Lock restoration (unlock the account(s))。

You will need to call to BOCM call center (During working hours) or visit to the nearest branch to unlock your Current/Savings Account.
