Statement on Bank Personal Loan and Agent Fraud Alert

Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad (“BOCM” or “the Bank”) would like to caution the public to stay vigilant against individuals who may impersonate our staff or misrepresent themselves as Personal Loan authorised agents. These individuals may use forged business cards featuring the official BOCM logo to enhance their credibility. BOCM would like to reiterate that:

a. BOCM has not been offering unsecured personal loan;

b. BOCM has not appointed any external agents to promote BOCM loan and products;

c. BOCM has not granted permission to any party to use BOCM logo or company name for any affairs;

We urge the public to remain vigilant and always verify the identity of our bank's staff to avoid potential scams.  If you have any doubts or concerns, please contact BOCM‘s Customer Call Center at (+603) 2059 5566 or visit our Branch.
