Announcement on Loan Repayment Assistance Packages for Affected Individuals

 

Dear Customers,

Following the Prime Minister's announcement on 28th Jun 2021 to provide loan repayment assistance to individuals, Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad (“BOCM”) would like to inform that you may select any of the following repayment assistance provided by BOCM:

(a) 6 months loan repayments deferments, or
(b) Reduction of monthly instalments by 50% for 6 months.

The repayment assistance packages are to be made available for facility which is not in arrears exceeding 90 days as at 01st Jul 2021 and borrowers who are not subject to bankruptcy proceedings.

Other customized assistance is also available to suit individual financial needs and circumstances.

Any of the above repayment assistance options selected this year will not affect your CCRIS.

Please be informed that interest will continue to accrue but interest will not be compounded during the period of repayment assistance.
