Introduction to iGTB Net Service and Discontinuation of the existing Corporate BOCNET Service

To better serve your banking needs, Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad is delighted to share with you our new Corporate Internet Banking platform, i.e iGTB NET, which shall provide you with a brand-new online banking experience. 

 

Our iGTB Net provides the following key features:

  1. It improves user interface / user experience of our next generation of online banking;
  2. It offers a complete range of products and services such as Payroll Service, iGTB Mobile App, iGTB Mobile Token and others;
  3. It provides better control of user management where the appointed primary user will be able to manage your company’s user access management directly;
  4. It enhances the security level to safeguard your online banking access / transaction. 

 

In view of the above, we wish to inform you that our existing Corporate BOCNET service will be DISCOUTINUED at a later stage and we urge you to sign up for our new iGTB Net as soon as possible to minimize any operational disruption. 

 

For iGTB Net subscription, customers are required to download and complete the following documentation made available on our corporate website under Self-Service section:

  1. Corporate Electronic and Online Services (iGTB NET) Application form;
  2. Certified True Copy of the Extract Board Resolution; and
  3. Other supporting document such as your latest Form 49 and a copy of the primary user’s NRIC.

Corporate Online Banking Security Alert-  Scam Awareness

Dear Valued Customers,

Please beware of online banking scams (including but not limited to e-mail scams, phone scams, SMS scams etc) to protect yourself from being a victim of scammers. This is what you should do if you get a suspicious call / e-mail/ SMS link:

DO NOT reveal your user name, password or security token to any third party;

DO NOT download any unknown app to your mobile phone from unauthorized app distributor(s) or website(s);

DO NOT enter your internet banking user name & password on or via any website other than the Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad’s China official website;

DO NOT respond to any suspicious phone calls or messages (including but not limited to phone call(s) / message(s) who claim to be an officer/representative from the statutory body or law enforcement agency). If any payment is requested, always validate the same via the official website / telephone number of the relevant statutory body office before effect actual payment;

DO NOT access the website via a hyperlink from an unauthorized or suspicious email; and DO NOT ignore the transaction notification alert generated by the Bank. Always stay vigilant and alert on the transaction notification and immediately contact the Bank if you do not effect such payment or transaction.

DO NOT attempt to login to BOCNET via unsecure web browser which doesn't have continuous developer support. We encourage customer to login to BOCNET using secure browsers with developer support such as Google Chrome  (v119 or above), Firefox (v115 or above) or Safari (v16 or above).

Always ensure you access to the Bank’s online banking services via the Bank’s official website at www.bankofchina.com.my

Please note that Bank of China Malaysia Berhad's BOCnet platform will only use the following SMS Short codes to communicate with our customer via SMS: 63998 and 68886. Customer should stay vigilant should you receive SMS from number other than the aforesaid short codes. 

Please call the Bank at 603-2059 5566 immediately if you encounter any suspicious call / e-mail / link. Customer may also report fraudulent transactions to National Scam Response Center (NSRC) at fixed phone number 997.

Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (“PIDM”)

Money withdrawn from your insured deposit(s) is no longer protected by PIDM if transferred to a:

(a) deposit account payable outside Malaysia;

(b) deposit account held by a financial institution conducting Labuan banking business or Labuan Islamic banking business;

(c) deposit account held by a non-DTM; or

(d) non-deposit account (e.g. unit trust, securities trading account).

DuitNow

DuitNow, a national initiative supported by PayNet to modernize Malaysia’s retail payments to facilitate and drive innovation in e-Payments. For BOCNET (Corporate), we allow our business customer to perform up to MYR10 million per transaction on 7 X 24 basis.
