ATM/Cash Deposit Machine

ATM/Cash Deposit Machine is a machine with combined functions of ATM (Automated Teller Machine) and CDM (Cash Deposit Machine) which accepts and dispenses cash in a single machine.

ATM/CDM terminals are currently available at BOC Malaysia branches to support customers’ self-service banking transactions by using BOC Malaysia Debit Card and other banks’ card with Union Pay logo.

ATM/CDM Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1. Which currency does the ATM/CDM accepts?

Currently, our ATM/CDM dispenses and accepts MYR (Malaysia Ringgit) notes only.

 

Q2. What are the accepted denomination notes at the ATM/CDM?

Deposit: RM10, RM20, RM50 and RM100 notes only.

Withdrawal: RM20, RM50 and RM100 notes only.

 

Q3. What is the difference between fast cash and cash withdrawal at the ATM/CDM?

Fast cash enables you to withdraw money from the following 8 pre-defined amount selection: RM50, RM100, RM200, RM500, RM800, RM1000, RM1500 and RM2000.

As for other amount cash withdrawal, you may enter your preferred amount at the ATM/CDM.

 

Q4. What is the ATM/CDM withdrawal limit per transaction and accumulated withdrawal limit per day?

The minimum amount is RM20.00 and maximum amount is RM2,000.00 for each withdrawal. As for the daily accumulated maximum withdrawal from all channel, the limit is defaulted at RM10,000.00. You may reset your daily withdrawal at any BOCM branches or via Internet Banking BOCNet. However, the highest daily limit shall not exceed RM10,000.00.

 

Q5. What is the ATM/CDM deposit limit per transaction and accumulated deposit limit per day?

The minimum deposit amount is RM10 per transaction and the ATM/CDM accepts up to 200 pieces of notes per transaction. The daily accumulated maximum deposit amount is RM50,000.

 

Q6. What is the ATM/CDM daily fund transfer limit?

ATM/CDM’s maximum fund transfer limit is defaulted to RM10,000.00 per day. You may reset the fund transfer limit at any BOCM branches or through Internet Banking BOCNet, but the daily fund transfer shall not exceed RM10,000.00 per day.

 

Q7. Does the ATM/CDM requires PIN before customer is allowed to perform withdrawal or deposit?

Yes. A 6 digit PIN will be required when Debit Card is being used to perform withdrawal/deposit transaction.

 

Q8. What happens if I entered the wrong PIN more than three times?

If you have entered the wrong PIN for three times consecutively, the debit card will be blocked immediately. You are required to visit any of our branches to unblock the card (please remember to bring your identification card such as IC or a valid passport).

 

Q9. Which account will be deducted during an ATM/CDM withdrawal?

If the debit card is linked to one account, the withdrawal will automatically be deducted from the designated account. If the debit card is linked to multiple accounts, the cardholder can select the particular account to perform the withdrawal.

 

Q10. When should I activate/ deactivate the Overseas Transaction?

The Overseas Transaction is blocked by default. You may activate the Overseas Transaction when you are planning to use the card overseas. You may activate Overseas Transaction through BOCM counter, BOCNet, ATM/CDM or by calling our Call Center.

 

Q11. Under what circumstances ATM/CDM will retain the card?

ATM/CDM will retain the card when:

ATM/CDM malfunction

Non collection of card after performing transaction

 

Q12. What should I do if the ATM/CDM retained my card?

Please bring your identification document such as NRIC or a valid passport and visit the related branch to claim the BOCM debit card within 10 working days. If the card retained is a reported lost card, the card will not be returned and we will proceed to destroy the card immediately.

For non-BOCM card, BOCM will destroy the card on the same day, cardholder is required to make a report to their own issuing bank to re-issue a new card.
