Cheque Deposit Machines (CQM) are available at BOC Malaysia branches to let you deposit cheques to your BOCM account(s). The transaction can be performed with or without BOCM Debit Card.

• CQM do not accept envelop or paper clips for cheque deposit.
• Follow CQM instruction to perform cheque deposit, insert the cheque into the slot.
• Cheque deposited on working days after 4pm will be processed on the next working day.

Q1. Can I deposit multiple cheques within one transaction?

Yes, CQM can support both single and bulk cheque deposit up to 30 pieces within one transaction.

Q2. Can I deposit a foreign currency cheque via CQM?

No, CQMs are for MYR cheque deposits only.

Q3. Will there be any charges incur for using CQM?

There will be no charges incur for using CQM machine.

Q4. Is the manual dropbox still available at branches?

The manual dropbox is still available but only for Kuching branch for cheque deposit purpose.

Q5. What is the cut-off time for cheque deposit same day processing via CQM?

Cheques deposited on working days before 4pm will be processed on the same day. After the cut-off time, the cheques will be processed on the next working day.

Q6. What is the benefit of using CQM for cheque deposit?

CQM provides alternative and faster solution for you to deposit your cheque without having to queue at the bank counters. Hence, we are encouraging customer to use CQM machine anytime even during branch operation hour.

Q7. What is the operation hour for CQM?

CQM is our 24-hour self-service banking facilities. Customer may deposit their cheque(s) anytime at any of BOCM branch. However, cheque clearing shall be processed according to bank cheque clearing guidelines.
