Statement on Bank & MM2H Agent Impersonation Fraud Scams

Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad (“BOCM”) would like to caution the public to be vigilant against individuals who may impersonate our staff or misrepresent themselves as authorized agents of the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program. These individuals might use forged business cards featuring the official BOC Group’s logo to enhance their credibility. BOCM reiterates that:

a. BOCM did not appoint any agent to promote BOCM products or  MM2H Program.

b. BOCM did not provide permission to any party to carry BOCM logo or company name for any real estate affairs.

c. We recommend that customers to visit the official website of The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC.GOV.MY) to find a list of licensed MM2H companies before engaging with any MM2H agent.
