BOCM Great Wall International Debit Card (Mastercard) Renewal

Dear Valued Customers,
 

Kindly be informed that you may have received an SMS notification regarding your Great Wall International Debit Card (Mastercard) which could have expired or going to expire. We understand that during this period, it will be difficult for our customers to walk-in to the branches to request for a card renewal. As such, we are glad to inform you that we will be assisting you to renew your Great Wall International Debit Card (Mastercard). All you need to do is to follow these steps for us to send the renewed card to you.

Step 1: Download and complete Debit Card and Electronic Banking Service Application Form and/or Service Request Form.


A.         For existing eBanking user, please fill in the required fields in Debit Card and Electronic Banking Service Application Form as follows:

-          Fill in Account Name
-          Fill in Identity Number
-          Fill in Account Number and Existing Card Number
-          Tick (✓) 1. Debit Card Services and New Application
(Note: A Great Wall International Debit Card (Mastercard) without Paywave function will be discontinued and a new Great Wall International Debit Card (Mastercard) with Paywave function will be issued.)
-           Tick (✓) Great Wall International Debit Card (Mastercard)
-           Read Declaration and sign at 4. Customer Declaration and Signature

For non-existing eBanking user who currently at overseas (correspondence address) ONLY and wish to self-serve on card activation and reset password via Mobile Banking APP, please fill in the required fields in Debit Card and Electronic Banking Service Application Form as follows:
-          Fill in Account Name
-          Fill in Identity Number
-          Fill in Account Number and Existing Card Number
-          Tick (✓) 1. Debit Card Services and New Application
(Note: A Great Wall International Debit Card (Mastercard) without Paywave function will be discontinued and a new Great Wall International Debit Card (Mastercard) with Paywave function will be issued.)
-          Tick (✓) Great Wall International Debit Card (Mastercard)
-          Tick (✓) 2. Electronic Banking Services (optional)
-          Tick (✓) Mobile Banking (optional)
-          Read Declaration and sign at 4. Customer Declaration and Signature
(Note: For non eBanking user, you will also activate your card and reset password via BOCM ATM.)

B.         For customer who wish to update mailing address, please fill in required fields in Service Request Form as follows:     

-          Fill in Account Name
-          Fill in Identity Number
-          Fill in Account Number
-          Tick (✓) 1. Identification / Correspondence Information Maintenance
-          Tick (✓) and fill in the mailing address at Correspondence Address
-          Tick (✓) 3. Other Services Request and choose Others and remark at Others – “Debit Card Renewal Exercise”
-          Read Declaration and sign at 4. Customer Declaration and Signature

 

SERVICE REQUEST FORM

Important Notes:

1.          Signature must be the same as per account opening.
2.          Photocopy of NRIC/passport is needed for Debit Card application and utilities bill/tenancy agreement is needed for update of mailing address.
3.          Remember to cross your NRIC/passport photocopy with two lines on the top and left side of the photocopy and add “FOR DEBIT CARD RENEWAL PURPOSE”.

Step 2: Email the forms and supporting documents to BOCM Call Center at callcenter@bankofchina.com.my .   You will receive a notification or call from the Bank. Should you have any enquiries, please contact us at +603-2059 5566 during our office hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm, from Monday to Friday (except public holidays).

 

Reminder:

1.          Issuing/Courier fee will be imposed for renewal. Please read the Debit Card Term and Conditions and Product Disclosure Sheet to know more.
2.          You are reminded to keep your debit card and PIN secure at all time.
3.          Do not disclose your PIN number to any other person and do not allow any other person to use the Card and PIN.
4.          Once you have received the new card, kindly follow the steps given to link/activate your card.
5.          Please ensure that the Card is kept securely. If lost, please report to the Bank immediately.
6.          For further assistance, you may contact our call center or visit to the nearest BOCM branch.
