Product Features

  • Deposit or withdrawal RMB100 denomination physical notes with no foreign exchange conversion up to RMB10,000 per day. Any deviation is subject to Bank’s approval.
  • RMB fund transfer with no foreign exchange conversion and fees is applicable.
  • Monthly hardcopy statement or e-Statement will be provided.

Eligibility

All Malaysian citizens, permanent residents and foreigners aged 18 years and above.

Required Documents

Type of Account Account Opening Documents
Malaysian citizens or permanent residents
  • Valid National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) such as MyKad; and/or
  • Other supporting documents such as driving licence, passport, etc.

 

Note: One of the Residential / Permanent / Correspondence address must be same with NRIC, otherwise one of the following applicant's supporting document must be provided;

  • A current utility bill; or
  • latest bank statement; or
  • stamped tenancy agreement; or
  • latest telecommunication bills.  
Foreigner
Foreigner working in Malaysia
  • Valid Passport with enforceable for at least 6 months; and
  • A valid Work Permit with enforceable for at least 6 months; and 
  • A employment letter; and
  • Document to prove address in Malaysia*; and/or
  • Other supporting documents.
Foreigner with Dependant visa
  • Valid Passport with enforceable for at least 6 months; and
  • A Dependant visa with enforceable for at least 6 months; and
  • A valid Marriage Certificates (if married to Malaysian Resident); and
  • Document to prove address in Malaysia*; and/or
  • Other supporting documents.
Foreigner with MM2H visa  
  • Valid Passport with enforceable for at least 6 months; and
  • A MM2H visa with enforceable for at least 6 months; and/or
  • Other supporting documents
Foreign Student
  • Valid passport with enforceable for at least 6 months; and
  • A valid student visa with enforceable for at least 6 months; and
  • An enrollment letter from the College/School; and
  • Document to prove address in Malaysia*; and/or
  • Other supporting documents

 

* One of the following applicant's supporting document must be provided; 

  • A current utility bill; or
  • latest bank statement; or
  • stamped tenancy agreement; or
  • latest telecommunication bills.   

Note:
1) The list is not exhaustive. The Bank may require applicant to submit additional documents on a case-to-case basis.

  • Above RMB10,000: 0.2% on deposit/withdrawal amount*

RMB Physical Notes Deposit

Any soiled notes, mutilated notes, defaced notes or poor condition of the notes will not be accepted by the Bank.

 

Protected by PIDM up to RM250,000 for each depositor
