(Senior) Treasury Marketing Manager, Global Markets

Job Responsibilities:

Locally hired in one of our Southeast Asian Entities

  • Responsible for the sales and marketing, trading business for the Bank’s Corporate or financial institutions clients to proactively drive performance; keeping abreast of changes in market and clients’ demand, giving professional advice on sales strategy adjustment.
  • Maintain high quality day to day contact with clients, pitching and closing of deals, and proper follow up of post deal tasks.
  • Maintain mutually beneficial relationship with Traders and other product manager of Global Markets. Work closely within own team to maximize business revenue and backup other team members.
  • Work closely with other business units across the Bank to cross-sell and maximize synergy for the Bank and cooperating with frontline departments to attend important meetings and sales events.
  • Coordinate internal departments to negotiate and sign legal documents with Corporate or Financial Institutions clients.
  • On-the-job training will be offered to successful candidates to take a short-term assignment at Bank of China (Hong Kong), and returning to the original hiring country / transferring to other Southeast Asian entities depending on business needs after the secondment. 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience with derivatives or other investment related products.
  • Excellent analytical and marketing skills and basic data statistics.
  • Work experience in Malaysia is preferred.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn regarding the innovation and application of financial products.
  • Adhere to professional conduct with good personal qualities.
  • Fulfill the licensing requirements in the hiring country.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and local language in Malaysia.
